Star Anise

Growing mainly in tropical regions and originating in Asia, star anise is one of the plants most used in traditional medicine and phytotherapy, for its analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antispasmodic properties. It is used to treat rheumatism as well as certain functional gastrointestinal pathologies, such as indigestion, colitis, and flatulence, thanks to its digestive, carminative, and stimulating properties of bile secretion.
