Saudi Arabia experienced the coldest time after 2016, the temperature at night fell below zero degrees in the northern part of the country in the last two days, the meteorologists cited the AFP.

The desert kingdom is known for its big heat, especially in summer.

In neighboring Iraq, where summers are extremely hot, the people of Baghdad woke up on Tuesday to find a snow cover in the capital. The second time there was a snowfall in Baghdad for a century. For the last time, a snowfall was registered in the city in 2008.
