On August 10, 2019, a fifty-thousand-strong rally was held in Moscow on Sakharov Avenue. According to the White Counter, 49.9 thousand people came to the rally before 16.30, but people came up later. Officially, the rally was in support of unregistered candidates to the Moscow City Duma, in fact – in general for the rule of law and against lawlessness against Russian citizens. The situation in Russian society is rapidly and apparently changing irreversibly, primarily in Moscow and other large cities – and these changes will affect the life of every region, every branch of the economy, almost all organizations and citizens. Just for information, we provide links to some overview posts in the media and blogs – both about the meaning of what is happening and about the main events.
